Alphabiotics and your Brain

Why is Alphabiotics different?  Many wellness practitioners, both traditional and alternative, work with your body accessing symptoms and addressing hot spots. And for that we are all very grateful and certainly benefit from these skills when the service is needed. In Alphabiotics we are not addressing symptoms. We recognize that if the body is locked in a state of fight or flight the BRAIN is operating in a very different way than when you are in a state of balance. Locking in a state of fight or flight your brain messaging system is sending a different set of instructions to your system on a physical, emotional and chemical level than it does when you are in a state of relaxation, balance and full brain integration. For example certain chemical balances in the brain change, your physical stance and muscle tension patterns change and there are a whole host of other changes that occur, sub-second, when you move from balance to fight or flight (see attached summary of some of these changes). Naturally holding the fight or flight stance for short periods of time, when appropriate, is indeed the way to go. However holding this stance for extended periods of time on an on going basis is naturally going to cause undue imbalance to your system on many levels, as we will expand upon later in this section. Accordingly in Alphabiotics we address the brain and its messaging system; asking it to check and see if it is appropriate to still be holding itself in a state of fight or flight. We do this with a hands on technique that delivers a safe, non-threatening, high sensory input to the brain mind system.Naturally if the brain decides it is not appropriate to currently be holdng the fight or flight set-up it will immediately switch back to its natural state of homeostasis and balance. therefore most people will notice an immediate change in the way they feel.
